I guess it's maybe the new year, but the green look of my blog just wasn't suiting my needs any more. It used to soothe me, now it's just getting on my nerves. Plus, I take enough great photographs that I thought I ought to rotate through with my header. I'll figure that out later, for now, I just need clean white space. Yay that feels good.

I like your blog both ways!
Mine is plain white for the reasons you mentioned. You know how I love color- but I just can't SEE my blog with lots of colors. It seems toO busy for me.
I feel like in some ways it is not a good representative of me because there isn't a lot of color. Maybe I should just do a post on how much I love color... I am rambling.
I changed my blog background yesterday as well. I went with something a little busier...I will see how long I like it. I found a cute website with blog backgrounds so I may change it often just for fun.
I love the new look. Somebody's FABULOUS!!! Like your dad said, you have to say it like they do in the Grinch movie. You are great, and so are your pictures. White is good, but not as a wall color! (I am not a lurker.)
