good company

i'm not sure how she got roped into it, but i brought cutie miss hailey to my photoshoot tonight to help out. i was a little nervous, i've never done shoots with horses before and i had a long drive ahead of me. hailey was perfect company, she listened while i nervously talked and talked and talked! poor hailey. the shoot wasn't as exciting as i thought it would be, i usually order allie around like a slave when she comes, but these kids tonight were pretty easy and hailey found herself standing around a lot. poor hailey. she didn't even complain when i pulled over, i mean slammed on my brakes in the middle of the road - (there were no cars behind me!) on our way home to catch this gorgeous sunset - isn't it spectacular?!we did stop on the way home at noodles & co. - one my favorite places that she has never been, ghast! we talked about jr. high and nerdy boys (taylor) and laughed about our favorite funny movies (jack black), all over matching bowls of their fabulous mac & cheese. YUM-O! this is my definition of comfort food baby.and check out our "one-shot" self portait, i loved the "what am i doing here?" look on hailey's face so much that i didn't even bother to take another one. so funny! i love that hailey's mom is a blogger mom because she didn't even blink an eye when i wanted to photograph the sunset, and the mac & cheese and take a self-portait! she knows the drill man.she probably thought it was totally lame hanging out with a thirty-three year old on a tuesday night, but i had a ton of fun and am really glad she came, that drive would've been lonely without her! and, look what we got! after a two-second tutorial on composition, i handed her the camera and cutie miss hailey took one of the best shots of the evening!ya girl, YOU took this one! maybe a budding photographer on our hands? thanks for laughs hailey, you make good company! oh, and if you don't like the way you look in the self portait, i can totally photoshop your head with some other head from another photo, just point and click right? (inside joke)
