not quite what i had pictured

i have to say that when i heard about a movie being made about my delicious edward, i was excited but skeptical. how on earth would they make a movie about vampires that sparkle in the sunlight and go crazy over the smell of human blood without it being ridiculous? who on earth would they find to play a man so beautiful that it's some times hard to look at him? seriously, in my mind edward's face is vague without many details because i can't even envision someone that good looking. so today, i found out they have finally cast the entire cullen family of vampires and even though i think they did a really good job casting some definite beauties, and even though it makes me feel really excited about august 2nd when breaking dawn - the 4th book is released, and even though i feel a little excited to see one of my favorite guilty pleasures on the big screen, i look at this picture and see now that i had a reason to be skeptical.
**do you love edward cullen too?
how do you feel about good books being made into movies?
who would YOU cast to play edward?
will you go see this movie with me?**

I love that you have this picture up! I was wondering who they would cast. I think they look pretty good! I always imagined Edward as the main guy in Count of Monte Cristo movie. I still haven't read the last book that came out! I read the first two so fast that now I need to go back and read them all over again. I want to be able to get into it again! Have a great day Wende!--Megan M.

I was looking forward to this movie but now I am worried about the cast. This is the first picture I have seen of the whole cast. I will still go and see it so you can come with Emily and I. I am not sure who I would have play Edward but there are a ton of better choices than Cedric from Harry Potter. I am patiently waiting for the new book. I have to remember to pre order it Amazon this summer so we have it when it gets released and I am sure Emily and I will fight over it!!

I'm sorry to say I haven't read any of these books yet, but Mariah has and loves them. I'm taking a trip the first week of March so I'm going to take the first book with me to see if it is really all that!

I agree! I don't think Edward looks the way I pictured him to be for this movie but we'll have to wait and see how it turns out. I think the books are always going to be better than the movie anyway so don't get your hopes up too high. Can't wait for the 4th book to come out too! =)
I hear the "Uglies, Pretties, and Specials" series is a good read!

I have only read Twilight. I liked it and want to read the others...it's just taking me quite awhile. I have to say I feel disappointed in the cast! I never would of cast that boy for perfect Edward...I don't know...could anyone feel the role? The writer has Edward pictured in my mind as someone so beautiful he can't even be imagined...this boy just doesn't do it...although, after thinking about what I just wrote, i actually feel a bit bad for the guy because he just can't measure up to the standard that the writer wrote about. A lot of girls might be disappointed in him. sorry this is going on way too long. I have to see the movie for sure:)

Well, I have to say they sure made Cederic Diggory look great. I don't know if he just grew up or if someone airbrushed him. I love him. He is SOOO handsome. I think Emmett is a little small and Rosalie is not as pretty as I thought, but I love Carlisle and Esme. Bella is that girl from Transformers? Whatever. I am not way excited to put that book into a movie. I think it will be pretty lame...But, I will still be there on opening day to see my dear Edward!

I don't like the idea of making books into movies... but I usually see them anyway. I hope they do a good job with this one. I STILL need to read the book!!

I for one am very disappointed with the casting - I know it would be hard to find a perfect man-boy, but - c'mon!! I LOVE Edward and am now hesitant about going to see it on the big screen. I am one of those people who will wait until I hear positive things about the movie before I go see it. I totally agree with what you say in this post!

I agree, I was a little disappointed seeing the cast. I pictured someone with more severe, defined features. I don't think the guy they picked (forgot his name) fits all that much. Commenting on the comment above, the uglies series is pretty good. I liked the first two, but didn't really like specials as much. Their is a new one that is supposed to come out as an expansion to that series called Extras. K, now I'm just wandering..any way, here's my thoughts :)
