it's been so fun having eileen home from africa because she comes to tuesday play group faithfully. today she hosted play group at her house and the kids loved decorating valentine cookies. 
of course, they loved eating them best of all.
it's so fun for me to see the relationships developing between the cousins, drew and sam especially are such good friends. dan and ethan don't exactly love each other, ok, they fight constantly, but some day when they've grown out of their "this is my space, my toy, my blanket, my mommy" phase and stop trying to bug each other, they will be great friends! of course, play group is more fun for the moms than for the cousins, i've appreciated so much this year cultivating friendships with each of them. they are a great group of girls and we need a self portait next time!

Those cookies look so good! I need to make some today and attempt a cookie bouquet. Maybe I should enlist these cute kids to help.
Oh how I wish family was closer, but happily we'll have some visiting us tomorrow!! Happy Valentines!
