**EDIT! after patsy's comment i looked into it a little further and found that on the actual punxsutawney phil website (yes he has one) that he did declare six more weeks of winter! i originally saw the story on yahoo and they had gotten their facts wrong! i'm so bummed! not that i was really putting all my faith in an oversized rhodent, but it was nice to have a glimmer of hope. six more weeks of winter? sheesh? we're going to be hunting easter eggs in the snow! sorry to raise your hopes...

With all the funeral stuff going on I completely forgot it was ground hog day. We even talked about it all week. I LOVE THAT MOVIE. One of my all time favorites. We watched it in January sometime. HAPPY DAY- an early spring. Brett said in the paper it said he didn't see his shadow & late winter??? what! I'm stickin with your story :)
