i didn't have to wait too long to get my demolition photo. i just waited until everyone had finished and gone home. finished for the day that is, they'll be back tomorrow to work some more. we're expecting a week of this mess.
crazy mess - the dust is unbelieveable. demolition dust, it's pretty gross. and it's even worse when you don't have cupboard doors. :)
we are having the whole main floor done, so this is only a small part of the mess.
so pretty much, i don't think we're going barefoot for the next little while.
by the way, while the guys were scraping away at the floor today, someone knicked one of the radiant heat water lines that runs through the floor which caused a real life "old faithful" kind of effect in my hallway. and we are back to having no water until it can be repaired. can someone just come and exercise the demon that must live in this house please? i swear we have the worst luck with those dang pipes! at least it was all over the carpet we were already ripping out right? way to look on the bright side.

it will be GORGEous when it is done!! I love your red & yellow... such happy colors
I know you'll survive but your sanity is going to be tested! Do you have a mantra?
OOOmmmmm. Ooommmmm. My kitchen will be beautiful soon. Ooommmmmm.
ah, the sacrifices you have to go through to get something beautiful, huh? i can't wait to see the finished product!
p.s. it looks like they ripped out the tile after all.
Hopefully all the pain and mess will be worth it when the floors are all in and you love them!
There is nothing worst than the DUST! I hear ya on that one, my entire basement is still covered in sheet rock dust.....it takes forever to get rid of it.
Hang in there!!:)
Wow! These pictures are serious business. It does look like progress has been made...despite the "old faithful" so glad that is better now:)
It's going to be so beautiful!
I didn't realize you were going through this much demo until Allie told me you guys ate dinner in the basement last night! I can Not wait to see photos when it's done, I am so excited for you!

Just looking at these demo pictures gives me flashbacks of our remodeling project...we were mucking out drywall dust in places that I didn't even know existed before! grrrrrrrrr--
I can't wait to see the after pictures... :) How exciting! I'm hoping that in the next 2 years we can have our kitchen remodeled...it's so gross right now!
