i'm long over due for an addition to my 100 things about me list. so here we go.
1. i've always longed to visit the redwood forest, i think i need to see it in person because the photos are so stunning i don't really believe what i'm seeing.
2. i love to collect plates, especially salad size. i finally bought plate hangers and hung my collection on my kitchen wall. they make me so happy!
3. i feel baddly that i am NO help to my kids with their math homework. poor rich. he's their hands-on tutor and only hope of any help.
4. tiny sample bottles of perfume are one of my favorite things.
5. i have the world's best girlfriends. seriously.
6. i think i'm a pretty good cook, but i am a TERRIBLE cookie maker. it's just not my thing.
7. i try not to make my bed before i've said my prayers in the morning. then when i see my unmade bed, i remember to pray.
8. i found out tonight that i'm going to be camp director again next year. i wonder what the record is for consecutive years is? my biggest fear is that the girls will be disappointed when they hear it's me again.
9. at camp this year, i won the "dancing queen" award because of my late night partying in the cabins. it was the most fun i've had in a long time.
10. i found out this summer, that i love twitter. i don't really follow anyone on it, i just like being able to give short little blurbs about my life without the pressure of followers or comments. and i am obsessed with making each entry exactly 150 characters.
11. loving bananagrams lately.
12. i'm finding that driving lessons with taylor are not so bad. i'm more patient than i thought i would be, maybe because i remember how nervous i was at that age. of course, we haven't left the parking lot yet...
13. i recently got my nails done, a birthday gift from rich. they are too fancy for my plain jane self, but i love how feminine they make me feel.
14. i love cherry dipped cones from dairy queen, but only when they hand them to you fresh out of the dipper and the shell is still soft. once it gets hard, it's just not worth the calories.
15. i am needing a creative photography project right now. any ideas?
16. feeling TICKED that all the tickets for the midnight showing of new moon are already sold out. all the screaming fans made the mediocre twilight movie so entertaining. it just won't be the same without them.
17. i stopped drinking diet coke. i'm kind of scared to put that one in writing.

100 list revisited
i promised myself i would try to add a few things to this list every so often, so here goes. if you would like to see the first two installments, click here.
* i love gumballs - purple is my favorite but pink is a close second.
* taking up the tile made more dust than i will ever be able to physically remove in my life time.
* i wonder why creamies come in other flavors besides chocolate. what's the point?
* i function surprisingly well with no kitchen or living room furniture.
* it is better for my mental state to have things on my schedule to keep me going.
* i think may is busier than december and is more difficult to get through because there's no "christmas magic" to act as an anesthesia to get me through it.
* i really love veggies and fruits, but i also love butter and cheese.
* mother's day seems to really magnify the guilt i have over all of my short comings.
* i really love cherry wood. even though it shows more dust.
* sometimes i wonder if it's sick a wrong that a woman my age thinks zac ephron is so hot. i could almost be his mother!
* i'm lucky to be married to a man who sees the good in me.
* i love having "good mail" in my email inbox.
* i have survived this year because of theraputic thursday and good girlfriends.
* i wish i knew how to purge my life of guilt.
* i regret cutting my long hair.
* i always have a sick nervous stomach before a photo shoot.
* i keep thinking i'm going to burn my painting clothes after the painting project is over, but then another project begins before i have the chance.
* i wish we could have general conference every weekend.
* i have three ward callings right now.
* i mostly prefer silence rather than music while driving in the car.

100 list revisited
i have been thinking all year that i need to do another 100 things list. it was so much fun the first time trying to think of 100 things, that since then, things that i could add to the list keep popping into my brain. the list ended up being sort of introspective and revealing and a great way to journal i think. i love to read other's 100 list, i always learn lots of new stuff about them and enjoy seeing how much we have in common. i decided that i would try to add to my 100 list slow throughout the year so i don't forget anything that pops into my brain. so here goes.
101. i don't really like ketch up.
102. i won't do a "structured" diet because i'm afraid of yo-yo dieting forever.
103. i once "drank" a pan of macaroni and cheese - true story.
104. i am crazy about felt food, i know i don't have a ton of use for it, but it makes me giddy.
105. i very much dislike the two deep lines that have formed in between my eyebrows.
106. i am not an eyebrow plucker and i'm ok with this. i just never learned how and now that i'm older, i just think it's cruel and unusual punishment.
107. when my kids were little, i used to stir a can of tuna and a can of peas into their mac & cheese. they didn't know for a long time that it wasn't called "mac & cheese & tuna & peas".
108. mounds candy bars might be my favorite treat, at least as far as candy goes. i love dark chocolate and i love coconut so they are a perfect treat.
109. i don't think i could wear a bathing suit if lands end didn't make them.
110. i like the managability of length of my hair now, but miss how feminine my long long hair made me feel.
111. my organization projects always seem to make things worse before they make them better.
112. i think i may have permenant brain and inner nostral damage from all of my spray painting projects. i really need to buy a mask!
113. having babies has killed my bladder.
114. i am becoming accutely aware of how much time taylor has left before he graduates high school.
115. i signed up for a national geographic subscription today! i loved reading NG when i was younger and hope my kids will love it too.

I'm following suit from Patsy to write 100 things about me...maybe you'll learn something new!
* limey green makes me feel happy
* in my opinion there is no sweeter flower than the simple daisy, any color is great
* i am most afraid when i can't see or hear my surroundings
* i love fridays because the kids have early out from school
* i miss my kids and husband terribly during the day
* sometimes i just crave my husband's awesome smell
* i wish my husband would agree to having another baby
* spiders and especially ear wigs give me the heebee jeebees
* i am not afraid of death, but i am afraid to leave my kids without a mother
* i love to cook but hate to think of what do cook for dinner aaahhh!
* my heart swells whenever i attend my kids' programs & recitals
* i cry when i hear the pledge of allegiance or patriotic music
* i cry during every primary program and especially when children sing
* my eyes were born with rose colored glasses
* i am plagued almost daily by wicked headaches
* i am afraid for my kids to grow up and move away from me
* i am going to be the best grandma EVER
* i think teaching children to believe in the easter bunny is ridiculous
* i like to read three to five books at a time
* my hair is really long for the first time since i was little, and i love it

* i think TIVO is the best invention since electricity
* i could spend hours (and have on bad days) shopping every single isle and target
* i don't sleep well in other places besides my own bed
* i wish i could wave a magic wand instead of a paint brush to re-do my lipstick house
* when i photograph newborns i just giggle the whole time, they're so fresh
* i would rather be cold than hot, you can always add layers but skin is difficult to remove

* i wish the utah was a recycling kind of state, i hate how much garbage we make
